The Institute of French for Foreigners offers French classes in the morning,
workshops in the afternoon, a sociocultural programme, and a team of
tutors available 24 hours a day: summer course at the I.E.F.E. means much more than a mere linguistic programme.

Condition of registration : to be old of more than 18 years.

You can choose between three formulas

  • The IEFE organises two summer sessions consisting of 4 weeks each (July, August)

    There is an average of 19 hours of classes per week, from Monday to Saturday.

    A certificate is delivered to students having attended classes and workshops regularly.

    A report card may be delivered, upon student’s demand.

    There are several levels offered, which correspond to the student’s skills in French language and culture. The teaching is intensive and is made through the communicative method.

    The courses take place on the Paul-Valéry University campus where facilities and equipment allow quality teaching and the students’ personal comfort (audiovisual and computer aids, phonetic and multimedia laboratories, documentation center…).
    Instructors are university professors and specialists in the teaching of French as a foreign language (F.L.E. or Français Langue Étrangère).
